I’m a designer with a passion for crafting thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling solutions. As a senior in Industrial Design at The Ohio State University, my work is driven by a deep appreciation for materiality, form, and user experience. My background in Studio Art and Art History enriches my approach, allowing me to design with both historical awareness and artistic sensitivity.
My interests lie at the intersection of soft goods and interaction design, where textiles, user experience, and functionality converge. I am particularly drawn to the tactile nature of fabric, the mechanics of construction, and how people engage with the objects they use daily. Through my work, I aim to bridge traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques to create products that are both intuitive and enduring.
Beyond the classroom, I have gained hands-on experience through roles in gallery curation, exhibition installation, social media marketing, and community programming. I have also been actively involved with IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) for multiple years, where I have taken on leadership roles such as organizing a networking trip to Montreal, overseeing the club’s social media presence, and serving as a senior representative providing strategic feedback to the executive team. This experience has strengthened my ability to collaborate, lead initiatives, and engage with the broader design community.
Whether I’m designing a garment from hand-spun yarn, organizing an exhibition, or developing digital experiences, my goal remains the same: to create meaningful, user-centered designs.
