Inspired by the artistry and theatrics of mixology and cocktail shakers, you can use Spiceology to measure, mix, shake, and store your very own spice blends for anything from custom tea blends to marinades. Handcrafted from reclaimed wood, made with intention and aesthetics in mind, the Spiceology mixer is sure to become a timeless and lasting addition to your home kitchen.
Spiceology was created as part of The Ohio State University's annual Winter Market. As part of the junior year studio, each student spends the semester working in teams through each step of the product development process. Each team was tasked with bringing at least 10 of these finished products to market as well as develop media and brand language to go along with it. In addition to the product itself, we also made a website to go along with Spiceology and provide a sampling of recipes for blends that it could make.
